COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF COCKTAIL POPULARITY
AMONG CHINESE AND FOREIGNERS (STUDENTS)
Cocktails are one of the most famous alcoholic beverages, there are
many types and types of cocktails in each country and they have their own
characteristics, therefore the question arises "what factors influence the
popularity of cocktails?" the method used is qualitative descriptive analysis,
the sample in this study were ten students from China and ten students from
foreigners at Guilin Tourism University. The sampling technique used the
questionnaire technique, where the questionnaire was distributed through the
Google Form platform, which was then filled in by the respondents. The
results of this study indicate that the popularity of a cocktail is greatly
influenced by cultural background and preferences. because the popularity of
cocktails differs in each country and age group. as well as the preferences of
cocktails from each individual, some like more sour cocktails, sweeter or
prefer a strong alcoholic taste.
